Tabuk City, Kalinga – Thinking of expanding your small business?

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Kalinga is calling for businesspeople, such as those in the tourism industry, online sellers, women, youth, service-oriented businesses, restaurants, cafes, and catering, to avail themselves of the agency’s Kapatid Mentor Me-Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) online program.

The KMME-MME is an online program that offers coaching and mentoring to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to help them scale up their businesses. The program includes online sessions led by accredited business experts, with the aim of providing valuable knowledge and guidance.

It has been noted over the years that the program enables businesses to survive and even flourish.

To apply as a mentee, one must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kalinga who is either the owner, co-owner, or partner of a registered business that has been operating for at least a year.

Interested entrepreneurs must submit their documents at the DTI Kalinga Provincial Office, located on the second floor of Lua Building Annex along the provincial road in Dagupan West, on or before February 27, 2024.

Once qualified, applicants are to participate and gain valuable business knowledge from top-notch mentors and business experts in a comprehensive 10-module learning session designed to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Other takeaways from the program include getting inspired by the mentors' successful entrepreneurial journeys and having the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of mentors who can offer guidance on various aspects of business.

For more queries, contact DTI Kalinga at 09204233910.
