Man suffering from epilepsy found dead in Benguet ravine

Benguet, Philippines – A 50-year-old epileptic man in Benguet was found dead in a 50-meter ravine.

He was identified as Charlie Oidie Tipayno, a resident of Sitio Potod, Banangan, Sablan.

His relatives believed he died from an epileptic seizure, causing him to fall down the ravine, shared the local police.

According to his son, Reden Bugtong Tipayno, he left their house on Thursday, June 01, and did not return home since.

On Monday morning, a laborer found the body of the elder Tipayno lying dead along Banangan, Sablan, Benguet.

Authorities who were then called upon rushed to the scene to retrieve Tipayno’s remains which now lies at their residence. They cautioned families of those suffering from such disorder to watch them to prevent the same occurrence.
