Epileptic seizure may have cause drowning of boy in Isabela River

Cauayan City, Isabela – The father of a minor found dead in a river in Minante Uno, Cauayan City, is suspecting his son might have suffered from an epileptic seizure before drowning.

‘Alyas Tintin’, 17, left their home at 12:30 p.m. of Wednesday, Oct. 18, and never returned since.

Worried about what had happened to him, his family started searching for the victim.

During their search, the father found his son’s belongings—slippers, mugs, and medicines near a creek in said barangay.

This prompted them to notify authorities of what had happened, and as a response, a search and rescue operation was launched.

The body of the victim was found around 8 a.m. of Thursday, Oct. 19, with the collaborative efforts of Team Valley Air Wariors (TOG 2) and Philippine Air Force Cauayan.
