Tabuk City, Kalinga – A family in Purok 2, Bulanao, Tabuk City warned the public to remain vigilant and secure their houses before bedtime, after losing gadgets and cash to burglars on Friday night, January 6, 2023.

Charlyn Mae Lemi told GURU Press Cordillera that the burglars broke into their house while they were sleeping and they woke up on Saturday morning with missing laptops, cellphone, and P3,000 cash. The thieves scattered his brother’s files and identification card in front of their neighbor’s store, the victim added.

She described the stolen gadgets as a newly purchased gray ACER laptop with serial number NXK6TSPOO323309A453400; black ACER laptop with stickers; and a white Samsung A8star cellphone.

Through a CCTV footage, they discovered that their house has been entered by the thieves between 11:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. They could hardly identify the suspects though since it was dark and there was a bougainvillea plant that happened to cover them.

At the time, Lemi who was then in her room was still awake but she didn’t hear anything apart from the sound of the pouring rain.

The victim asked people to contact her through 09755124942 should anyone sell them their stolen gadgets.
