Fire engulfs farmer’s center in La Trinidad, Benguet

La Trinidad, Benguet – Early morning this Black Saturday 2022, a fire broke out at the Farmer’s Center in Puguis, La Trinidad, Benguet.


This is the second time the center experienced fire.


The first fire at the center this year was on March 25 with an estimated damage to property of P30 million.

In a report sent by the Bureau of Fire Protection – La Trinidad, the structural fire started at 12:27 AM and was put out at 3:45 AM with the help of the fire personnel and the community.


According to Addisson Kyle La-ao who lives nearby the facility, they heard a loud explosion before the fire blazed.


The BFP – La Trinidad said that the fire may have been caused by a short circuit.

Further investigation is ongoing for the cause of the incident.


The office likewise awaits the item inventory of the stall owners to find out the extent of damage brought by the fire.


No fatalities and injuries were recorded by the fire personnel.
