Tabuk City, Kalinga – iKalinga music enthusiasts can look forward to a lively nightlife as the province gears up for a four-night concert series from February 11 to 14, 2026, featuring the province’s finest local talents.

Popular Baguio-based boy band Cup of Joe may also join the lineup, adding an extra dose of excitement to the festival’s nightly performances.

The concerts are part of the celebration of the 31st Kalinga Founding Anniversary and 7th Bodong Festival, which will run throughout the month of February.

During the first general meeting held on January 9, 2026, at the Grand Zion Hotel in Bulanao, various concerned committees discussed and finalized the lineup of events for the upcoming month-long festivities.

The discussions included event scheduling, budgeting, and the potential participation of Cup of Joe, whose inclusion, according to Committee Co-Chairman and Board Member Atty. Chris Donaal, will depend on the band’s availability and the budget allocation for talent fees.

“We are getting in touch with the manager of Cup of Joe because their talent fee is quite high. In the meantime, we are still coordinating with their management regarding their schedule, as they reportedly have an upcoming international tour. That’s how massive the popularity of this group is,” he said.

In line with Governor James Edduba’s suggestion, the concerts will cover a variety of musical genres—such as folk and country on the first night and pop on the second—to ensure that audiences of all ages will enjoy the performances.

“Diay scheduling lang and diay suggestion metlang ni Governor nga per genre ti maaramid—for example, diay first night ket folk country; second night ket more poppish, kasdiay. Inggana nga ma-cover tayo amin,” Donaal said.

The four-night concert series is expected to be one of the highlights of the festival, celebrating Kalinga’s rich musical heritage while offering residents and visitors the chance to experience the province’s vibrant cultural scene.

Cup of Joe is a Filipino alternative pop-rock band formed in November 2018. The group signed with Viva Records in 2019 and rose to prominence in 2023 after topping Spotify Philippines’ Daily Top OPM Groups chart, overtaking Ben&Ben, which had held the spot for over a year. Some of their most popular tracks include “Multo,” “Tingin,” and “Misteryoso.”
