Here's the final & official 2023 Kalinga Prov'l Meet results

Tabuk City, Kalinga – More than 600 medals were awarded to the different student athletes in Kalinga who won in the 2023 Kalinga Provincial Athletic Meet held in Rizal on April 14-16, 2023.


Among the six participating towns, Balbalan was declared the overall champion after collecting the biggest medal haul in the competition this year. The town harvested 63 gold medals, 44 silver, and 30 bronze.

Placing second is Rizal with 134 medals (53-48-33) followed by Tanudan at third place with 111 medals (42-29-40).


Pinukpuk ranked fourth with 96 medals (38-34-24); Tinglayan placed 5th with 80 medals(26-25-29); then Pasil with 65(18-21-26).


Pinukpuk tops elementary division tally

Pinukpuk earned the highest number of awards in the elementary category with 47 medals (22-16-9); followed by Balbalan at second with 48(17-18-13); then Rizal and Tanudan who tied with 20(8-7-5) and 33(8-11-14) respectively.


Pasil and Tinglayan tied for 6th place with 17 medals(6-2-9) and 12(6-4-2) respectively.


Balbalan dominates the secondary division tally

For the secondary division tally, Balbalan got the most number of accolades with 89 medals(46-26-17); followed by Rizal with 114(45-41-28); then Tanudan with 78 medals(34-18-26).


Tinglayan landed 4th with 68 awards (20-21-27); followed by Pinukpuk at 5th place with 49(16-18-15); then Pasil with 48 medals(12-19-17).
