Kalinga LGU recognizes 4 honest guards and 2 job order employees


Tabuk City, Kalinga – The provincial government through its Provincial Employees Association of Kalinga (PEAK) provided cash incentives to its six employees in recognition of their honesty and integrity while performing their duties.

Provincial Governor’s Office – Information Services reported that among those recognized during the flag ceremony earlier this May 23, 2022, are Security Guard II Jolly G. Apayyo, SG1 Rodrigo E. Ayyang, SG1 Robert L. Li-ab, SG1 Perfecto L. Ginnayao and job order employees Riza G. Mabanag and Florencia B. Mangoltag.


Ferdi Vidad, the PEAK President, narrated that while transacting their business at the Capitol building on May 17, 2022, Ryan Gimena and his wife Emilyn Gimena, who are both residents of babalag, Rizal, lost their wallet containing P30,000 and other valuable items.

The couple reported the incident to Apayyo, Ayyang, Li-ab, and Ginnayao who were then on duty.


After their search, the personnel found out that the wallet which was accordingly left unattended in the alley was taken by Mabanag and Mangoltag for safekeeping.

The wallet was then claimed by the owner who, in return, thanked the effort and service of the employees.

Accompanied by Vidad, Governor Ferdinand Tubban awarded a P2,000 cash grant to the four guards and two job order employees.


“The good deeds of these government employees only show the commitment and integrity of the security force to their job and the Provincial Government’s Core Values,” describes the PGO - Information Services.
