Tabuk City, Kalinga – No changes will be made on the eased health restrictions in Kalinga as the province remains under alert level 1 classification from May 16 to 31, 2022.
Malacañang announced the retention of Alert Level 1 of the province on Sunday, May 15.
In accordance with the pronouncement of the palace, Executive Order No. 2022-13 issued by Governor Ferdinand Tubban will remain in effect.
However, the Governor advised the public not to put their guard down and remain vigilant instead. As highlighted by the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Edward Tandingan, the minimum public health protocols such as wearing of face mask and regular hand washing are still the best defense against the dreaded virus and must still be observed.
Below are the main points outlined under Executive Order No. 2022-13:
Plastic divider not required
Under Alert Level 1, several restrictions had been lifted, such as the required use of acrylic and/or plastic dividers in public transportation and that public vehicles could already accommodate a full seating capacity.
The Safe, Swift and Smart Passage (S-Pass) travel management system is also no longer required for inter-zonal travels.
Everyone can now undertake intra-zonal and inter-zonal travel regardless of age and even comorbidities.
Proof of full vaccination required
The provincial government, however, still requires proof of full vaccination before entry into indoor establishments with closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings, except for children ages 17 and below.
For outdoor or al fresco dining and takeout channels, no proof of full vaccination is required.
Establishments allowed to operate
All establishments, persons, or activities are allowed to operate, work, or be undertaken at total on-site or venue seating capacity, provided these are consistent with minimum public health standards.
Establishments are no longer required to set up isolation facilities within the workplace.
The use of digital contact tracing, such as StaySafe.PH application is optional for all agencies and establishments.
All private offices and workplaces, including public and private construction sites, may operate at full capacity, consistent with national issuance on vaccination requirements for on-site work.
The offices may continue to provide flexible and alternative work arrangements as deemed appropriate based on function or individual risk.
Agencies of the government shall also adhere to a 100 percent on-site workforce.
Off-site work shall be under such work arrangements subject to relevant rules and regulations issued by the Civil Service Commission and the Office of the President.
Face-to-face classes for primary education shall be subject to the approval of the Office of the President.
