Lubo, Tanudan provided free community restrooms thru 2 police generals

Tanudan, Kalinga –Two high-ranking police officers from the Cordillera and Region II recently collaborated to build a community restroom in Lubo, Tanudan. This is to address the need of three barangays in Lubo for public comfort rooms as revealed through a community consultation.

Said restrooms were officially turned over by Cordillera Regional Director PBGen. Ronald Lee and Region II Director PBGen. Steve Ludan to the community this March 26, 2022.

Philippine National Police Cordillera reported that the two-star rank generals initiated the project last year after consultation with the community, and after learning from health officials about the lack of public restrooms in the three adjacent barangays of Lubo – Upper, Lower, and Babbanoy.

With this, Lee and Ludan planned the construction of public comfort rooms on September 10, 2021 with the help of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office. The project was later adopted by the "Adopt-a-Community" Program of Philippine Military Academy Tanglaw-Diwa Class of 1992.

After six months, the restrooms were inaugurated and blessed, which was witnessed by Congressman Allen Jessie Mangaoang, Municipal Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag, Commander of 501st Infantry (Valiant) Brigade, BGen. Steve Crespillo, and Kalinga Acting Police Provincial Director PCol. Peter Tagtag Jr.
