Lubuagan Anti-Drug Abuse Council consistent awardee under Mayor Dickpus administration

Lubuagan, Kalinga — The Anti-Drug Abuse Council and the Municipal Peace and Order Council of Lubuagan has been a consistent awardee under the administration of Outgoing Mayor Charisma Ann Dickpus, says Municipal Local Government Operation Officer.

In her message during the oath taking and turnover ceremony of the newly elected and re-elected municipal officials of Lubuagan on June 28, Elizabeth Lorenzo thanked Dickpus for her outstanding leadership for the past three years.

“On behalf of the DILG-Kalinga family and DILG-CAR as a whole, may I express our gratitude to the outgoing municipal mayor, Attorney Charisma Anne Dickpus for the excellent display of governance during her term of office,” Lorenzo conveyed.

She said this could be substantiated by the consistent awards received by the ADAC and MPOC of Lubuagan during Dickpus’ term of office since 2019.

Lorenzo also mentioned that during Dickpus’ term, there was a timely display and posting of documents on the Full Disclosure Policy Board.

Further, she mentioned that the areas on Financial Administration, Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness, Peace and Order, Environmental Management and Tourism under the Seal of Good Local Governance have improved a lot under Dickpus’ leadership.

Mayor Dickpus turned over her post on June 28 to newly elected Mayor Joel Tagaotao who will be leading Lubuagan for the next three years.
