Magtoma, Lay-asan all-weather access road in Tanudan completed

Updated: Jan 26, 2022

Tanudan, Kalinga – The concreting of the 95-meter access road in Magtoma, Lay-asan in Tanudan, Kalinga was recently completed, giving the constituents of the sitio a new all-weather road, sparing them from the discomfort of travelling along muddy and slippery road specially during rainy days.

The project which was finished this January 15 was allotted with P700,000 funding from the Municipal Local Government Fund of Tanudan.

This access road connects the community to the main road wherein its concreting is among the needs of the constituents in the sitio since during rainy season, the road turns muddy and slippery leaving the people no choice but to walk since most vehicles cannot pass through it.

In a statement, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag expressed that the people have waited for a long time to have an all-weather access road, this is why it is among the projects that was given priority by the local government unit under his administration.

“Nabaya-bayag met a haan nasemsemento, ket isu met iti maysa kadagiti in-priority tayo tatta ta nu agtudo gamin ket haan ngay makaapan iti lugan idiay ket nagadu iti constituents tayo idiay,” he conveyed.

Dagadag added that they plan to extend the newly concreted road once there is enough funding.

“Ket ti kinabayag na metten ket oras na met siguron a main-inut a masemento dagitoy daldalan tayo ditoy Tanudan. Daytoy ket para kadagiti constituents tayo tapnu haan da marigatan nga agtravel karkaru nu panagtutudo,” he added.
