Man arrested for blackmailing 53-yr.-old lover with sex video

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – A 37-year-old man was arrested by police in an entrapment operation over the weekend for blackmailing his lover with their sex video in Balzain East, Tuguegarao City.

The 53-year-old victim told police that that the suspect threatened her several times of spreading the sex video on social media if she refuse to give him money.

She mentioned that the guy, who is from Calamagui, Amulung West, Cagayan, was asking for P25, 000 for him not to leak their video online.

After seeking help from authorities, the businesswoman met with the guy on Diosdado Macapagal Avenue for the supposed easy money transaction at 7 PM on Sunday.

During said meet-up, the entrapment was made where the boodle money was obtained by police.

In the investigation made, it was known that the two had a quarrel prior to the supposed extortion.

The suspect is now detained at the Tuguegarao City Police station while the charges against him are being prepared.
