Tanudan Police Chief, PCapt. Manuel Sabado told GURU Press Cordillera that the incident happened when the victim, Lester Ladrido, who is from Tabuk City was on his way to deliver a truck of sand in Tanudan.

When he reached Magtoma, the white truck the victim was driving got stuck in the mud. Little did he know, he was being followed by the suspect Wi-ing Bag-ay who allegedly took this opportunity to attack him.

According to the Chief of Police, the suspect was planning to avenge his brother who was stabbed sometime in May 2022. His brother’s attacker was described to have a white dump truck and the victim coincidentally was driving the same truck.

Through the aid of the community, the police arrested Bag-ay on June 07 in Pangol.

The suspect will be charged with murder and will be subjected to an inquest proceeding today, June 08.
