Santiago City, Isabela - A minor in Santiago City, Isabela, has been arrested by authorities on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, for allegedly extorting money from a college student using their private video.
The suspect, whose name was kept, is a 17-year-old and a construction worker in the city.
Accordingly, the minor suspect demanded the victim P10,000 in order for him to delete or not upload online their alleged sex video, based on the information obtained by 104.9 XFM at Santiago City Police Office.
The victim refused to give the money and reported the incident to the police.
Following the report, authorities immediately conducted an entrapment operation resulting in the arrest of the accused.
Recovered from him were the evidence and fake money used in the operation.
The suspect will be facing charges for robbery extortion and he will be handed over to the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development for proper procedures.
