Minors caught stealing money, helmet in Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Dagupan Centro Punong Barangay George Esteras appeals to parents to monitor their kids’ activities amidst cases of minors stealing in Dagupan Centro.

Just recently, a group of young individuals was caught by a CCTV stealing from a stall at the side of Tabuk City gymnasium in Dagupan Centro.

The case happened around 12:00 -1:30 a.m. on August 07, 08, and 12.

The suspects who were covering their faces with their jackets and shirts were seen on the footage opening the coffee vending machine to get the coins inside.

On the afternoon of August 07, two children were also spotted taking away a City Local Government employee’s helmet.

With this, Esteras calls on parents of these minors to correct their kids’ wrong and illegal doings while they are still young.

“Ibagak kuma kadagiay nagannak dagitoy nga ubbing nga i-check da kuma habang ubing da pay ta baka nu dumak-dakkel da, dumak-dakkel tu manen iti value ti alan da,” he said.

To parents, in general, the punong barangay urges them to monitor their children’s whereabouts to make sure they won’t get involved in illegal activities.
