Nine iKalingas graduate from PMA ‘Talang Dangal’ Class of 2026, soon to serve in PH Army, Navy and Air Force

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Nine sons and daughters of Kalinga are now part of the country’s newest commissioned military officers after graduating from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Saturday, May 16, 2026.


The nine iKalingas are among the 207 members of the PMA “Talang Dangal” Class of 2026 who successfully completed the academy’s rigorous four-year military training at the country’s premier military institution.


The new military officers from Kalinga are Christian Baligod Ayabo, Nika Ofod Daluping, Emmanuel John Maymaya Sorita, Lorainne Domallig Addamo, Gibea Angbal Puday, Cydan Zack Mangay-ayam Romero, Byron Basitao Banog, Braille Van Choc-angon Lobhoy, and Nerissa Daluyen.


All are from Tabuk City except Daluyen, who hails from the Municipality of Rizal.

Meanwhile, 24 graduates of the PMA Talang Dangal Class of 2026 came from the Cordillera Administrative Region.


The graduation ceremony was graced by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., who served as the guest of honor during the momentous event.


Following their graduation, the cadets will officially serve in the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, and Philippine Air Force as commissioned officers tasked to protect the Filipino people and uphold national security.
