P19M quartering facility of Kalinga police inaugurated

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A new, three-storey edifice that would house visitors and personnel of the Kalinga Police Provincial Office was inaugurated on Thursday, November 24 at Camp Captain Juan M Duyan, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga.

PCol. Patrick Joseph G. Allan from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera, Kalinga Governor James Edduba, and Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Director Khadaffy Tanggol were among the officials present during the activity.

The p19M quartering facility was funded by the Convergence and Special Support Program of the Philippine National Police and the DPWH.

The construction of the building started last May 2021 and was completed on April 13 of this year.

“With the government’s investment of over P19 million on this infrastructure, the facility would accommodate guests and visitors as well as for a decent and comfortable shelter for the men and women of Kalinga PPO,” Kalinga police said in a press release.

In a statement, Kalinga Police Provincial Director Charles Domallig expressed his gratefulness to the implementing agency headed by Engr. Khadaffy Tanggol and other stakeholders in the realization of the project.

He then assured that the facility will be taken care of for it to serve more PNP personnel, not just in the present but in the future.

“In return, it is with hopes that this facility would be responsibly stewarded over this place and shall be taken care of, so as it can be of service to the PNP personnel of Kalinga for more years to come,” he said.

“I will encourage all to work together for a better future and improvement of police service in Kalinga. To the community we serve, rest assured that we will endlessly commit ourselves to be of service to our Kailyans and strive to be better public servants,” the province’s police top official added.
