PARACELIS, Mountain Province — Two sisters from Paracelis, Mountain Province, became licensed physicians in a double family milestone on October 16, the same day their father retired after 36 years in government service.

Maria Antoinette and Ingrid Noreen Banggot Binoloc were among the 4,165 examinees who passed the October 2026 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), turning their family’s celebration of their father’s retirement into a day of added joy.

Their father, Antonio Binoloc, retired as Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator of the Paracelis local government unit after more than three decades of public service. Their mother, Marieta, had earlier retired from her career as a secondary school teacher.

Mayor Marcos Ayangwa congratulated the sisters, describing their achievement as a reflection of years of dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to education and public service.

He said their success went beyond personal achievement, highlighting the importance of hard work and parental support in helping children pursue their aspirations.

“Their journey inspires our young people to dream big, persevere through challenges, and pursue excellence in the service of others,” Ayangwa said.

Ayangwa, himself a medical doctor, encouraged the sisters to practice their profession with compassion, courage, and humility, and to make a difference in the lives of the people they serve.

He expressed hope that their achievement would inspire more young people in Paracelis to pursue their dreams and become sources of hope and healing in their communities.
