Pasil Mayor Malannag Jr., elected officials take oath

Pasil, Kalinga – Re-elected Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. of Pasil along with other newly elected officials took oath on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the Municipal Hall in Amdalao, Pasil.

Malannag administration shall be composed of Vice-Mayor Venancio Magangat and Councilors Nick Bommogas, Jhomel Gayagay, Ronaldo Gumabay, Peter Andomang, Billy Linggayo Jr., Guillermo Tao-il, Eugene Batalao Sr., and Christopher Canao.

Said officials, accompanied by their family, took their oath before Judge Jerson E. Angog of Regional Trial Court Branch 25.

During his talk, Malannag posed a challenge for the officials to ‘work as one’ for the municipality to continue its path to development.

He likewise called for the public to cooperate and support the programs of the local government, which he said, are intended for them.

In the same event, outgoing Vice-Mayor Theodoro Mosing turned over his post to Magangat through a symbolic key which was accepted by the latter, promising to work hard for the position he is in.

Further, outgoing councilors were duly recognized for the measures they pushed during their tenure.
