Pasil MHO requests support of barangay officials to intensify vax drive



Pasil, Kalinga – Personnel of the Pasil Municipal Health Office led by Dr. Aldrin Siwao are appealing to the barangay officials to help in convincing their unvaccinated constituents to get inoculated against COVID-19.


Said office made the request, working toward for YPasils to “Heal as One.”


Unvaccinated students, teachers, senior citizens, and other sectors are encouraged to proceed to the designated vaccination sites and receive their COVID-19 shots, and join the nationwide vaccination drive from November 29 to December 1.


“Maawis ngarud amin a haan pay nabakunaan ta daytoyen ti chance yu nga apan agpabakuna,” the office posted through their official Facebook page.


Enjoining the “Bayanihan Bakunahan: Ligtas. Lakas. Buong Pinas.” campaign of the Department of Health, Pasil MHO has set up sites for the scheduled inoculation.


This morning of November 29, the vaccination for residents of Ableg, Dalupa, Cagaluan is held Cagaluan Day Care Center. This afternoon will be for Balinciagao Sur and Norte at Balinciagao Norte Barangay Hall.

On Tuesday, November 30, the office will conduct pediatric vaccination for 12-17 years old and adults from Guina-ang, Dangtalan, Magsilay, Pugong, and Malucsad at the Rural Health Unit of the municipality.


From RHU-Pasil, the team will proceed at Batong Buhay Barangay Hall on December 1 to attend to interested individuals of Balatoc.


Mayor Alfredo “Chao-ig” Malannag Jr. is one with the MHO in appealing for the cooperation of all yPasil in the vaccination drive to protect themselves and loved ones from the severe effect of COVID-19 and likewise prevent the transmission of the virus.


Pasil recorded 44% of its 70% target population are fully vaccinated.
