Pasil, Kalinga – The municipality of Pasil completed a total of 12 projects for the year 2021, as shown in the data of Kalinga Provincial Engineering Office. A total of P11,800,000 of the fund used for the projects was provided by the provincial government while other funds were sourced out from different agencies.

According to the office, among the projects completed are classified under road networks and other infrastructure assets.

The upgrading of the road in Molayong , Dalupa and upgrading and improvement of Balinciagao - Magsilay – Amdalao – Guinaang Provincial Road are the highest funded project with P2 million each.

The list is followed by the Construction of COVID-19 Isolation Unit, Fencing of Provincial Government Facilities and Properties at the Cagaluan Nursery, Upgrading and Improvement of Road to Rural Health Unit in Amdalao, Construction of Multipurpose Evacuation Center in Malucsad, and rehabilitation and improvement of various roads.

Mayor Alfredo ‘Chao-ig’ Malannag Jr. earlier underscored the significance of road development for the municipality to progress.

Such development, he said, brings safer and better mobility among the people, and this is also vital for the transport of materials for the construction of impact projects. With this, he then appealed to his constituents not to hinder the implementation of road projects and instead cooperate for the improvement of the general public.

“Our leaders dream of roads and development and here we are, the next generation, iparit tayo ti kayat da? Ti immuna a Mayor ti Pasil isu ti inaramid na babaen ti pananglukat na ti horse trail from Limood to Guina-ang. That is the start of development. Let us convince others to embrace development tapno ag-progreso ta-u,” Malannag stressed during the 55th Founding Anniversary of the municipality.

The local government unit is pursuing projects that they have already started and are determined for more ventures.
