PNP Tanudan reminds parents to guide their kids against drugs, terrorism

Tanudan, Kalinga – Amidst the concern on illegal drugs and terrorism in the country, the Philippine National Police in Tanudan reminded parents to guide their children in order for them not to fall victim to these ongoing problems in the society.

This reminder was noted by Tanudan Chief of Police, Police Captain Manuel Sabado, during the Children’s Month celebration on November 21 at the Davidson Hotel.

Sabado stressed that not only the people around the child affect them while growing up but also their environment and the society. He added that there are several factors in the society that destroy the future of a child, and these include illegal drugs and terrorism.

“Kitaen tayo kuma iti pagsayaatan da ta haan da ngay nga maiyaw-awan ta ammu yu met tatta iti society tayo, daytoy environment tayo ket adu ngay iti makaapektar kadagiti ubbing tayo kas kuma iti maiparit a droga ken terrorismo,” he said.

The Chief of Police then reiterated that children should be guided to the right path for them to have a brighter future.

“I-guide tayo kuma da isuda ngay tapnu mayat iti papanan da tapnu haan nga mapaaay diay nam-namaaen tayo nga mangyari kadagiay anak tayo nga someday they will become doctors, adda tu ag-mayor, adda tu ag-congressman, ket we are proud nga sooner or later addan tu met anak tayo nga mangitandudo iti ili tayo nga Tanudan,” he said.

Sabado further encouraged the parents to continue being role models to their children and to continue setting good examples that they will follow and apply once they get to the real world.
