‘Serbisyo Caravan’ brings free health-care services in Tinglayan, Kalinga

Tinglayan, Kalinga – A total of 614 residents of two barangays in Tinglayan, Kalinga benefited from the ‘Serbisyo Caravan’ held on Saturday, July, 22, 2023.


Organized by the municipal local government unit, 54th Infantry (Magilas) Battalion, Kalinga Provincial Police Office, host barangays and other national line agencies, residents in Tulgao East and Tulgao West enjoyed various free health-care services.


These include medical consultation, dental tooth extractions, circumcision, and haircuts. Recipients also availed of free medicines, food packs and relief clothes.

Said event likewise aims to empower the youth and promote education therefore, beneficiaries were engaged with entertaining and educational activities led by the Mt. Province Youth Organization.


Further, the PNP and 54IB team conducted an awareness campaign on fraudulent recruitment of various terrorist groups to create awareness and ensure their safety.


They also provided guidance on how interested individuals could join the Philippine Army organization.


The ‘Serbisyo Caravan’ is part of the government's Mobile Community Support Program, which aims to extend basic social services to remote and Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas.
