Wife of missing SK Chairman in Isabela says husband eloped with mistress

Isabela, Philippines – The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman in Isabela who was earlier reported missing was alleged to have eloped with his mistress. This was revealed by the young official’s wife through her social media account.

On July 08, the family of Jimmy Dalere, SK Chairman of Barangay San Francisco, Cauayan City reported him missing.

In her interview with 92.9 Brigada News Cauayan City, Jimmy’s sister Joyce Dalere Sambu, narrated that before the chairman went missing, he first dropped her wife off in Barangay Minante.

At around 10:00 PM of said day, Jimmy texted his wife saying he was in Tuguegarao City. After that evening, the family lost contact with Jimmy.

Police says Jimmy eloped with live-in partner

On July 11, Chief of Cauayan City Police Station, PLTCol. Sherwin Cuntapay said that based on their investigation, Jimmy might have eloped with a live-in partner.

Cuntapay relayed the statements made by the family and neighbors, saying they saw the SK Chairman left with a lady which he introduced to them as his friend.

Jimmy’s mother Imelda Dalere, on the other hand, affirmed that his son did not elope.

“Bakit sasabihin nilang nagtanan ang anak ko e may asawa ang anak ko at araw-araw siyang umuuwi dito,” said Imelda in her interview with a local radio station.

Wife releases statement

On Wednesday evening, July 13, the wife of the SK chairman voiced her resentment through a Facebook post.

“Alam kona ang lahat lahat ng kasinungalingan mo! Pinaniwala mo ako sa mga sinasabi mo sakin na puro lang pala kasinungalingan. Humanda kayo ng kinakasama mo…meeting kin seminar mit gayam nga sabali ti inubram!” she expressed.
