Stolen car in Tuguegarao found in Tabuk City

Updated: May 29, 2023

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A vehicle reported missing in Tuguegarao was recovered in Barangay Lacnog on May 25, 2023.

The vehicle described to be an MV Isuzu Wrangler was ‘flash alarmed’ by the Cagayan cops after it was claimed to have been stolen around 2:00 a.m. on May 23 at the Emata Building in Carig Sur, Tuguegarao.

Kalinga police disclosed they conducted surveillance after receiving information that the missing car was spotted in Lacnog.

On Thursday morning, the operatives were able to recover the MV Isuzu Wrangler after it was discovered abandoned on the national road in front of the barangay hall of said village.

Police coordinated with the barangay council for the possible identification of the suspects. Unfortunately, the officials have no idea that the car parked was a stolen vehicle.

The recovered MV Isuzu Wrangler was registered to a resident of Novaliches, Quezon City. The car was brought to the custody of Kalinga police for a macro-etching examination of its chassis and engine numbers.
