The search is on for Mr. and Ms. Kalinga 2024


Tabuk City, Kalinga – The Province of Kalinga is now looking for its next queen and king.

 

The Search for Ms. Kalinga has been part of the Kalinga Day celebration over the past years. For next year, however, the province will not just crown an yKalinga beauty as it will also name its first Mr. Kalinga.

 

If you have what it takes for these titles, you may file your application from December 18, 2023 to January 9, 2024.


“Brace yourselves for a journey where excellence meets distinction. The spotlight awaits, and history is about to be made,” the Kalinga Provincial Information Office wrote.

 

Qualifications

 

Aspiring candidates for Mr. and Ms. Kalinga must be single, and must have never been married, pregnant, or given birth for the part of the beauty queens.

 

Ladies must also be at least 5 feet and 2 inches tall to be able to be qualified for the Ms. Kalinga search while men must be at least 5 feet and 7 inches for the Mr. Kalinga.

 

For other qualifications, an applicant must be in the 18–25 age group as of February 14, 2024, and a resident of Kalinga or a member of the Kalinga Indigenous Cultural Community. They must likewise be fully aware of the Kalinga culture.

 

Also, applicants for these two big pageants in the province in 2024 must not be current title holders of another province nor former candidates of the 5 national beauty contests in the Philippines.


What to accomplish

 

If you possess all the mentioned qualifications, you must fill out the Candidate’s official application form which is available at the Office of the Provincial Human Resource Management Officer (OPHRMO) or at https://forms.gle/E4XosZ2MCfgrNwpr6 .

 

The attachments needed include a photocopy of any of the candidate's birth certificate or government ID or passport (the original copy will be presented upon submission of application); a photocopy of high school diploma; two pieces of 4R recent headshot and a full body casual attire; and a certificate of tribal affiliation or certificate of residency.

 

These documents can be submitted at the OPHRMO or through email at ganda_kalinga@yahoo.com .
