“Ti peace and order ditoy ili tayo, alagaan tayo” Edubba during installation of new PNP provincial director

Tabuk City, Kalinga - “Ti peace and order, didiay commitment tayo in sustaining peace and order ditoy ili tayo, alagaan tayo,” this is what Governor James Edduba said as he rendered a message during the installation of the Director of Kalinga Police Office on Wednesday, June 5.

 

Police Colonel Gilbert Fati-ig took the command of Kalinga PPO from PCol. Freddie Lazona, who rendered his police service for 10 months.

 

A turn -over of command ceremony was held at Camp Captain Juan M. Duyan in Bulanao, Tabuk City on said day. It was facilitated by Cordillera Police Deputy Regional Director for Administration, Police Brigadier General Patrick Joseph Allan.


During said ceremony, Edubba urged the new director to maintain and improved the peace and order in the province.

 

“Awan ti ibaga-baga mi ditoy nga Lumin-awa nu awan ti talna ditoy ili tayo. Awan ti progress ditoy ili tayo nu awan ti talna ... So I hope nga mas mapasayaat pay daytoy ili tayo” said the governor.

 

Edubba likewise expressed his support for the activities and programs of police particularly on combating illegal drugs, and other crimes being still recorded in the province.

 

 “Karo daytoy illegal drugs, theft ken rape… Gapo ti kayat ko ditoy ili tayo ket natalna ... sunga nu anya man kasapulan yo, financial wenno anya man sisusuport nak met” he further said.

 

Edduba, to recall, was recently honored by the Philippine Army for his support and commitment for the implementation of Executive Order 70 or the Whole-of-Nation Approach in attaining inclusive and sustainable peace.

 

He received a plaque of recognition from the 5th Infantry Division in Isabela last May 20, 2024.
