“Vision or Warning?”: Psychic Rudy Baldwin predicts typhoon deaths, plane crash, and disasters in Apayao and Ifugao

Tabuk City, Kalinga — Could another disturbing prophecy from social media psychic Rudy Baldwin be a warning the public should prepare for — or merely another prediction stirring fear and debate online?

Known for her controversial “visions” about disasters, deaths, accidents, and mysterious warnings allegedly revealed through divine messages, Baldwin once again caught the attention of thousands after forecasting grim incidents that she claimed could strike the Cordillera provinces of Apayao and Ifugao this year.

Baldwin, who has built a massive online following through her viral predictions, shared the forewarning through her official Facebook page with more than 5.4 million followers on May 17. Her latest vision described devastating scenarios involving a strong typhoon, earthquakes, aviation tragedy, road accidents, and fire incidents.

In Apayao, Baldwin claimed to have seen a powerful typhoon making landfall in the province while being accompanied by two southwest monsoons or “habagat,” resulting in severe destruction and deaths.

“MATINDING PINSALA ANG DULOT NG BAGYO DAHIL NAG LANDFALL PO ITO AT HALOS NASABAYAN PA ITO NG DALAWANG HABAGAT. NAKAKALUNGKOT PAGMASDAN ANG VISION KO DAHIL ME TATLONG LINDOL NA MANGYAYARI PA LAMANG AT ISA DITO AY HALOS SUMABAY SA LAKAS NG ULAN,” Baldwin wrote, adding that she also saw a church being struck during the calamity.

In Ifugao, Baldwin claimed to have foreseen a plane crash along with two separate road accidents, one of which allegedly involves a group of young people.

She also described fire incidents occurring near a gasoline station located close to a water station, bakery, and small pharmacy, as well as another fire at an automotive shop where she saw someone repairing tires.

Baldwin has long remained a divisive figure online. Supporters believe some of her previous warnings mirrored real-life tragedies and disasters, while critics argue that her predictions are often vague and broad enough to be associated with almost any unfortunate event.

Among her most talked-about prophecies was her description of 2025 as a “Biblical awakening,” where the earth would “shake violently” — a statement many netizens later linked to the strong earthquakes that hit parts of the Philippines that year.

Despite the alarming nature of her latest claims, Baldwin emphasized that only God truly knows what will happen and urged the public to remain cautious, prayerful, and prepared.
