Baguio City, Philippines – A 31-year-old waitress is facing a complaint for slight physical injuries after allegedly striking a customer with a bottle of beer and a plastic chair during an altercation at a bar in Baguio City.

According to police reports cited by DZWT 540 AM, the incident occurred on March 23, 2026, at a bar along Magsaysay Avenue but was only reported to authorities on June 15.

The 27-year-old complainant told police that he and his brother were drinking at the establishment when the waitress and several of her colleagues approached them. The group allegedly asked the brothers to buy them drinks, which they agreed to do.

The complainant said that while they were drinking together, the waitress demanded payment for the beverages. However, he allegedly told her that he would settle the bill later.

The response reportedly angered the waitress, who allegedly grabbed a bottle of beer and struck him on the head before hitting him with a monoblock chair.

The 27-year-old man claimed he sustained injuries as a result of the incident.

Based on the complaint filed, the waitress is set to answer a case for Slight Physical Injuries as authorities continue to investigate the matter.
