La Trinidad, Benguet – A man was found dead on Thursday, June 2, 2022 after he fell into a brook in Sitio Bito, Shilan, La Trinidad.
The victim was identified as Christian Paul Aginas, 22, single, and a resident of said barangay.
Based on a report by the Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation, La Trinidad- BFP Fire Marshal Chief Senior Inspector Victor Sayapen informed that on Wednesday, they received a notice from a concerned citizen regarding an incident involving a young man falling into the brook, and thus they conducted a search.
Volunteers from said barangay also assisted in the operation and found the remains of the victim.
Meantime, authorities are now reminding the public to practice extra caution when going to the forest, brooks, and rivers to avoid possible accidents, particularly this rainy season.
