Tabuk City, Kalinga – A total of 14 drug personalities in the Cordillera are now facing charges after falling into the hands of the police authorities during a week-long anti-illegal drugs operation on November 20 – 26, 2022.
Of the said figure released by the Philippine National Police - Cordillera, four individuals were caught in the Province of Kalinga.
The suspects were identified by the police as Jonathan Talaue, 31; Shad Dimara, 36; Fernandez Samuel Jr., 37; and Hearlee Balicao, 40.
Also, nine of the 14 were arrested in Baguio City. They were identified as Edwin Jacinto, 25; Timothy Kyle Yan, 21; Gilbert Allan Legaspi, 32; Jessica Mendoza, 24; Jervin Domingo, 36; Joshua Liclican, 23; Christian Valdez, 25; Jerejhill Calderon, 33; and Lemuel Santos, 23.
The other one drug personality identified as Arjay Millare, 32, was nabbed in Abra.
The said people were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meantime, the police and anti-drug agents in Baguio City are currently conducting a massive manhunt operation against 31 suspected regional and city high-value drug personalities who are said to be in Baguio.
