2 Cordillera examinees top March 2023 Civil Service Exam

Tabuk City, Kalinga – They are not just part of the successful takers of the March 2023 Civil Service Exam (CSE), these two Cordilleran examinees also aced and topped the career service test.

Data released by the Civil Service Commission showed that the number of test takers for the March CSE nearly tripled with 403,567 - registrants compared to the 147,877 in August last year.

Of the almost half million who aspired for Civil Service eligibility in March, a total of 64,420 passed. 54,478 are under professional level while 9,942 are sub-professional.

Among the top performers at the professional level is Samantha Lorraine Jose who garnered a 91.10% rating. She has the 5th highest grade.

Jose was a first-class cadet of the Philippine Military Academy during the filing period of the exam.

On the other hand, 20-year-old Saint Louis University student, Azlemere Kate Olegarion placed 8th in the sub-prof category with an 89.60% rating.

Overall, Cordillera Administrative Region ranked 3rd with a notable passing rate at 18.52%.
