2 injured in a car-motorcycle collision in Tabuk

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A rider and a back rider sustained serious injuries after their motorcycle collided against a car on Thursday evening, September 23, along the national road in Bacras, Bulanao Norte.

Based on an initial investigation of the Tabuk City Traffic Management Unit, a black XRM driven by a certain Kaith Guian was coming from the access road near the Bulanao Hydro while a Ford ranger driven by a certain Jose Ercilla, 44, was traversing the national road going to the direction of Bacras.

When the motorcycle reached the end of the access road, it attempted to cross the national road in order to get to the lane going to the direction of white carabao. However, before the XRM could reach the said lane, the motorcycle and the incoming Ford ranger smashed against each other.

The motorcycle fell on the road just under the four-wheel vehicle and was pushed over for approximately 19 meters by the Ford ranger.

The rider and her 16-year-old back rider were rushed to Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical treatment after they sustained serious injuries.
