25-bed capacity Tanudan Municipal Hospital begins construction in August

Tanudan, Kalinga – A new and improved Tanudan Municipal Hospital building will begin construction next month.

The 25-bed capacity medical facility will have its groundbreaking ceremony on August 8, 2023 at Banagao, Poblacion.

Initial funding for the erection of the infrastructure came from Tanudan Local Government Unit’s share from the 999-M loan of the Kalinga provincial government. Tanudan was allotted with P40 million funding.

For their part, the Department of Health gave P5.5M for the building.

Now that the yTanudans’ dream for better medical services is becoming a reality, Mayor Jaedicke Rhoss Dagadag conveyed his gratitude to the past and current administration of Kalinga PLGU as well as the Department of Health for the budget they allocated for the construction of the Tanudan Municipal Hospital.

He stressed that this is a huge help to the constituents of Tanudan who longed to have an improved medical facility so they won’t have to go to other places for treatment.

“Daytoy hospital ket dakkel nga tulong iti ili nga Tanudan karkaru dagiti adda iti adayu nga bar-barangay. Daytoy 25-bed capacity nga ospital tayo, nu malpas, ket ekspektaren tayo iti may-mayat nga pasilidad ken serbisyo para iti umili,” he said.

“Isu nga agpas-pasalamat nak nga ustu kadagiti napalabas ken agdama nga opisyales tayo ditoy probinsiya tayo nga Kalinga ta ipapati da latta nga ited dagiti daw-dawaten tayo a proyekto para iti Tanudan,” he added.
