Baguio City, Philippines – Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) is the first PPO in the country to be conferred the Silver Eagle Award, says the Information Office of Cordillera police.

This is after the PPO led by PCOL Froiland Lopez garnered an overall rating of 90 percent during their Institutionalization Evaluation Process (IEP), the fourth and final stage of the Performance Governance System (PGS) pathway.

In recognition of the Abra police personnel’s commitment and support in the effective implementation of the Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and for Upholding the Rule-Of-Law or the P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 of the PNP, PRO-Cor Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN Patrick Joseph Allan awarded the Silver Eagle accolade to the recipient on Monday, April 24 at the Masigasig Grandstand in La Trinidad, Benguet.

Aside from being a Silver Eagle Awardee, Abra PPO has likewise been conferred the institutionalized status “after months of hard work and thorough preparation of documents for impact audit and revalidation” in the duration of their IEP.

"To Abra PPO, as you made history today, you likewise set yourselves as the standard for other units to benchmark. Therefore, sustain the remarkable accomplishments you have attained and continue to prove that institutionalized status bestowed upon you is not simply a title but already your way of life," Allan stated.

Also given proper recognition was the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD) of Abra PPO, along with the PRO-Cor personnel who helped in the effective execution of the PGS Institutionalized Status.
