Baguio City, Philippines – The City of Pines is set to host the finals of ‘Man of the World’ 4th edition or the male counterpart of the Miss Universe this June 2022.
According to PTV – Cordillera, the event showcasing masculinity of over 40 candidates from different countries will be another chance to promote the Cordilleran tourism.
According to International Pageant Director Kneil Harley, their team will start welcoming the delegates in Manila by June 8. A press conference and sashing ceremony will follow the day after. The conduct of Asian Brand Alliance Summit will be on June 11.
The opening parade and ceremony of the global pageant will be on June 12.
Cultural night, Fashion of the World and National Costume Competition will be held simultaneously from June 13 to 17.
Program Director Jinky Lontoc underscored the necessity to be fully ready for the ‘big pageant.’
“We have to fix our materials, kasi right now we are having the biggest stage that the pageant industry is really providing so we need to really speak the right messages, the proper purpose,” said Lontoc.
The theme of this year’s search is “Recovery of Tourism, Appreciation of Culture and Preservation of Heritage.”
