Baguio-Dagupan daily trips open until Feb. 28

Baguio City, Philippines – For the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak, a daily bus trip was opened for Baguio to Dagupan, Pangasinan and vice-versa through Victory Liner.

The operation of said route started on February 2 and will end on February 28.


This is upon the recommendation of Department of Tourism – Cordillera for Victory Liner to coordinate with other agencies to help in the gradual reopening of tourism.


The Victory Liner, in partnership with Trip Quest Travel and Tours, then organized the daily bus trip.


“So this is a trial run. For now, the earliest na bi-biyahe is 5a.m. and then the latest is at 7p.m. for both destinations tapos every 2 hours may byahe naman,” Operations Supervisor of Trip Quest Travel and Tours, Kate Daphne Zantua said through Regional News Group - RNG Luzon.

Requirements


According to Zantua, only a vaccination card or VaxCert is required for those travelling in Dagupan, while those travelling to Baguio need to register to Baguio VISITA, the tourists’ online portal through https://visita.baguio.gov.ph/.


Additional requirements for travelers going to Baguio City are vaccination card and a negative Antigen or Reverse Transcriptase – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test result.


Travelers only have to present the requirements to the staff of Trip Quest Travel and Tours at the Victory Terminal and they will be duly assisted.


Meanwhile, Victory Liner is processing documents for regular daily trips for the said route for upcoming months.
