Board Member Tarnate of Kalinga lauds tourism revival efforts of DOT-Cordillera

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Gracing the culminating program of the Motocaravan and Heritage Discovery held at Kalinga Astrodome, the Committee Chairman on Tourism, Agriculture, and Cooperative of Kalinga PLGU lauded the tourism revival efforts of the Department of Tourism – Cordillera.

Board Member Lester Lee Tarnate on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, expressed awe of the said department for undertaking various events, such as the recently concluded activity, which give chances for the tourism industry to recover amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tarnate likewise congratulated the 100 motorcycle riders who participated in the Motocaravan and Heritage Discovery for being part of the tourism revival.

“At least makita ti participants from National Capital Region (NCR) ti kinapintas ti tourism sites tayo ditoy Kalinga ken Cordillera. Ammuk nga inenjoy da kasi they started from Ifugao to Mountain Province ken ditoy kalinga,” the Committee Chairman on Tourism said in an interview.

Tarnate assured his continued support of other tourism programs in the Cordillera region.
