Tuguegarao city, Cagayan-With 17 regions in the Philippines, Cagayan Valley took the top spot in the completion of their subproject reports.
Region 2 has completed P1.5 Billion worth of subprojects under the Philippine Rural Development Project “IBUILD” Physical and Financial Status, which was made possible through the region’s Department of Agriculture Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) with Cagayan Valley Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO) 2.
North Luzon Deputy Project Director Elma Mananes revealed that Cagayan Valley is the only region to complete 31 Subprojects.
Deputy Project Director Rose Mary Aquino acknowledged the team members of DA RPCO 2, the proponent groups, different local government units, and Provincial Project Management and Implementation Units for the achievement.
"One of our strategies is to monitor the construction from time to time. I also instructed the team to help those provinces that need guidance. This time our engineers intervened even it was not their jurisdiction," Aquino said.
Meanwhile, Regional Executive Director Narciso A. Edillo, the RPCO 02 Project Director during the virtual assessment, commended the workers and their partners for the recognition despite the changing quarantine measures and protocols. He said the team of RPCO 02 and partners did their best to complete the subprojects even against the odds.
