Updated: Oct 13, 2022

Rizal, Kalinga – A dead body with a note ‘pusher ako wag niyo akong tularan’ was discovered 5 meters from the national road in Sitio Alibangbang, Liwan West Thursday morning, March 10, 2022.

Captain Ruff Manganip, Rizal Chief of Police, disclosed that the body was seen by a farmer who happened to pass at the said road around 7:55 in the morning. After discovering the body, he immediately called the attention of the police.

Upon arrival at the area, they found this lifeless man lying face down on the ground with four gunshot wounds on his back and one on his temple. He added that they found a note beside the victim’s face claiming he was a pusher and that he should not be imitated.

The police recovered slugs of caliber 45, caliber 9mm, and M16.

Based on the initial assessment of investigators, Manganip mentioned that there is a possibility the victim was killed elsewhere and that his killers just disposed of the body at the side of the road.

“Ti assessment mi ket haan nga idiay a pinaltugan da, ta nu idiay da nga kuma nga pinaltugan da adu kuma ti dara na,” he said, adding that even the empty shells were found close to the body.

The man was later identified by his sibling as Roger Dawagan, 32, from Taga, Pinukpuk.

Investigation of the case is still in progress.
