Dead man with hands, feet tied and mouth taped found in Bangued, Abra

Bangued, Abra – A mother had to identify her son after a dead body was found at a crime scene in Bangued on Monday morning, February 23.

At around 6:05 a.m. of said date, the police officers in Bangued proceeded to Sitio Lidlidaak, particularly along the Lidliddaak-Siit Farm to Market road, to verify a report about a dead man found in the area.

Arriving at the scene, they saw an unknown male person wearing a navy-blue t-shirt and green short pants. He was described to have gunshot wounds. His hands and feet were tied with a rope, while his mouth was covered with a packaging tape.

Moreover, found at the crime scene include 20 fired cartridge cases of .45 Caliber, 3 live ammunition of .45 Caliber, seven fired shotgun shells, and one live shotgun shell. The area and the found body was processed by the SOCO team.

The victim, whose name was not disclosed by authorities, was identified by his mother. The incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
