Drug personality in Tabuk nabbed after contraband was found at his place

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A street-level drug personality in San Juan, Tabuk City was apprehended by authorities after they found contraband at his home following the implementation of a search warrant on July 9, 2024.

 

The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 25 on July 8, allowing the anti-narcotics cops to search the home of the suspect, a 30-year-old resident of Purok 3, San Juan. His identity was not revealed by the police.

 

According to the Kalinga police, the operation led to the discovery of four sachets containing a substance believed to be shabu. The suspected contraband is estimated to be 7 grams and worth P47,600.00.

 

Other pieces of evidence confiscated by the authorities at the suspect’s place include sachets with a residue of suspected shabu, aluminum foil, a unit of cal. 38, bag, holster, and other drug paraphernalia.

 

Due to these items discovered at his house, the 30-year-old was brought to the custody of the police and was charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
