Tabuk City, Kalinga – During the soft launching of 92.10 Gimpong FM station, Representative of the Lone District of Kalinga, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang invited the public to tune in to the station “nga mangipa-ay samiweng, dayyeng ken damag ti pagsayaatan.”

Gimpong FM, a government and non-commercial radio station located at Talama, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga, had a test broadcast on October 30, 2021.

The coverage of the station is within the licensed service area of 1 millivolt per meter (mV/m) F.I contour with a frequency range of 88-108 megahertz (MHz). Its hour of operation is from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.

Topics discussed, according to Reginald Wacas of the Office of the Congressman, will be “anything under the sun” and songs played include country, folk, and indigenous music.

In his first message on the radio, Mangaoang described the station as “timek ken ayug a maipatayab iti tangatang.”
