‘Iti opisina iti gobernador ket very open,karkaru nu pagsayaatan iti umili… ti pagtutungtungan tayo’- Atty. Balnao of Kalinga PLO tells tanudan associations

TABUK CITY, Kalinga — “Iti opisina iti gobernador ket very open kadakayo nga associations, karkaru nu pagsayaatan iti umili ken pagsayaatan iti asosasyon iti pagtungtungan tayo,” Atty. Priel Balnao of Kalinga PLO told Tanudan community associations, stressing that the provincial government can only respond to people’s needs when they communicate their concerns and proposals.

Representing Governor Edduba, Balnao delivered the message during the turnover of documents for five DSWD PAMANA Livelihood Program Associations (PLPAs) in Tanudan to the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office on August 27 at Davidson Hotel.

Balnao said the governor cannot immediately determine the specific needs of communities and associations without receiving information directly from them.

“Iti gobernador tayo ket haan nga mammugto, nga maamwan na nu anya iti kasapulan yu. Maamwan na lang nu anya iti kasapulan yu nu ibaga yu apo, all you need to do is lay down your proposals,” he said.

He encouraged the associations to communicate their concerns and submit proposals that could benefit their members and the wider community.

For those who may be hesitant to personally visit the Governor’s Office, Balnao said they can raise their concerns through their association officers or approach the appropriate government agency.

“Nu mabain kayo man nga mapan personally idiay opisina na, mabalin met nga aramaten yu dagiti opisyales iti asosasyon tayo nga mangrepresent kanyayo. Nu saan, umasideg kayo idiay right agency or office,” he said.

Balnao emphasized that the provincial government welcomes initiatives that contribute to the welfare of Kalinga communities.

He encouraged the Tanudan associations and other iKalingas to actively communicate their needs, proposals and concerns, assuring them that these can serve as a starting point for government assistance and possible interventions.

The message underscored the importance of open communication between communities and government, particularly in identifying programs and services that respond to the actual needs of people on the ground.
