Kalinga Engineers start Bayanihan fundraising for Cagayan Valley and Cordillera

Tabuk City, Kalinga―Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) Inc.-Kalinga Chapter initiates Bayanihan 2.0 fundraising to provide assistance to families affected by Typhoon ‘Ulysses’ particularly in the parts of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera.

In August 2020, the PICE Inc.-Kalinga Chapter put up a 16-bed capacity COVID-19 Emergency Quarantine Facility at an area adjacent the athletic bowl in Bulanao, Tabuk City as their way to help the government for the lack of isolation facilities. Said facility was turned over this September 04.

As many affected people are seeking refuge, lacking food supplies and other basic necessities, said group intends to utilize the donations for immediate relief goods most importantly medical supplies, clothes, and blankets.

Furthermore, the initiative seeks for the usual support of other kind hearted people and once again utilize the spirit of Bayanihan to ensure all the people affected will get the help they direly need from our kababayan.

“Sa mga kakailyan tayo nga willing tumulong sa kakabayan natin, please approach us,” Engineer II Mandel Gu-pay expressed.

For donations (cash/in-kind), please contact the official number of PICE Kalinga-Apayao Chapter, 0916 977 4048. You may also send your donations to Mandel B. Gup-ay, LandBank Acct. 1056 3615 41/GCash Number 0975 689 2430.
