Kalinga Police provide 400 yTinglayans free medical, dental services

Tinglayan, Kalinga – Some 400 residents of Tinglayan benefited from the free medical and dental services conducted alongside the celebration of St. Francis of Assisi Parish Day on Tuesday, October 04, 2022, at said church.

The outreach program provided free medical and dental consultations, tooth extraction, circumcision, haircut, massage, and medicines, among other health services to the beneficiaries, 2nd Kalinga Police Mobile Force Company (KPMFC) informed in a press release.

Said outreach was made possible through the joint effort of 2nd KPMFC led by PLTCOL Jeffrey Vicente, Tinglayan MPS, Tinglayan LGU, RHU Lubuagan, RHU Pasil, Kalinga Provincial Hospital, Juan M Duyan Memorial District Hospital, Imallango Troopers Association, and St. Peter Chapel Hospital.

The objective of the medical mission is to bring government services closer to the people and gain their trust and support which is vital towards the attainment of a “Safer Kalinga Province to live, work and do business with.”

The activity is in line with the 2nd KPMFC’s “Manfaruwan” project and in commemoration of the unit’s 4th-year installation and activation anniversary, as guided by MKK=K (Malasakit, Kaayusan, Kapayapan, tungo sa Kaunlaran) and the launching of Revitalized PNP KASIMBAYANAN (Kapulisan, Simbahan at Pamayanan) program.

The unit expressed gratitude to all the supportive stakeholders that helped in strengthening the partnership between the police and the community.

Meanwhile, Municipal Mayor Sacrament Gumilab lauded the unity displayed by parishioners and all the guests.

“This occasion was put in to show the unity of PNP, LGU, church, and the community. This partnership is needed to further our shared vision of a Tongrayan Umunno-unnoy,” he expressed on his social media page.
