Office of Cong. Mangaoang distributes medical supplies to Kalinga hospitals

Tabuk City, Kalinga - The Office of Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang recently distributed medical supplies based on hospital needs for the different municipalities and the city in Kalinga.

In an interview with a staff of the office, he explained that the medicines and other medical supplies were provided through a request to augment the inadequate resources of the hospital.

Mangaoang sought the help of Bliss Pharma Distribution and Consultancy Corporation on the matter, with the latter positively responding to help.

“The items form part of the corporate social responsibility of Bliss Pharmaceuticals and Distribution Corp. and were entrusted to our office for distribution to our government health facilities in the province,” explained the Congressman through his official Facebook page.

Last week, Mangaoang and his staff delivered 25 boxes of dextrose to Kalinga Provincial Hospital, and 18 boxes each to Juan M. Duyan Memorial Hospital, District Hospital in Lubuagan, and Tanudan Municipal Hospital.

Additional 2 boxes of dextrose, one box of vitamin, and a box of Amoxicillin were given to the Rural Health Unit of Tanudan.

Meanwhile, Western Kalinga District Hospital in Balbalan received 14 boxes of dextrose, and Pinukpuk District Hospital got 15 boxes.

Also, two boxes of dextrose, one box of vitamins, and one box of Amoxicillin were delivered to Tinglayan Rural Health Unit; one box of vitamins and one box of Acresil to Lubuagan Health Unit; two boxes of dextrose and one box of vitamins to Balbalan RHU; one box of Amoxicillin and Vitamin C to Pinukpuk RHU; and one box of vitamin and two boxes of dextrose to Pasil RHU.

According to the staff, more medical supplies are yet to arrive and will be distributed to health units and hospitals in need.

Mangaoang extended his gratitude to the corporation saying “for the donations and for trusting our office as your conduit and partner. May the Lord continue to Bless you.”
