Tabuk City, Kalinga – Services of the Pagtutulungan sa Kinabukasan: Ikaw, Bangko, Industriya at Gobyerno (Pag-IBIG) Fund are now closer to the people of Kalinga as the office officially opens today, November 8 at Kalinga Provincial Capitol.

The opening of PAG-IBIG Fund satellite office in the province was made possible through the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the office and the Provincial Government of Kalinga represented by Governor Ferdinand Tubban last January.

With this development, government workers in Kalinga could save time and money from travelling to Tuguegarao City just to access PAG-IBIG Fund services.

Clientele are now being accommodated at the satellite office located adjacent to the office of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) at the side of the Provincial Gymnasium at the Kalinga Capitol compound.

“May PAG-IBIG na sa Kalinga! Saanen masapul a mapan tayo Tuguegarao nu ag-transact tayo ti PAG-IBIG loans wennu updates, ken daduma pay ta addan ti opisina da ditoy Provincial Capitol ti Kalinga,” Tubban stated as he thanked those who worked for the opening of said office in the province.

As announced during the blessing and opening ceremony held earlier today, the office will accommodate all PAG-IBIG transactions except for the housing loan.

Individuals who will access services are reminded to bring a valid ID with them. The office will be open from Monday to Friday.

The staff deployed to the office are from Tuguegarao Branch and according to Supervising Administrative Officer Leonida Manodon of Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO), the office will be managed by a qualified individual from Kalinga who was endorsed by the governor and duly trained by the Pag-IBIG Fund.

The governor reiterated that the provincial government will shoulder the accommodation of the office to ensure easy access to the people.
