Tabuk City, Kalinga – Representative of the Lone District of Kalinga, Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang called for the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) to protect those that are given by the government such as the Certificate of Land Ownership Award (CLOA), farm machineries, projects, and trainings.

Mangaoang, during the distribution of land titles and equipment held at the Kalinga State University gymnasium on November 24, underscored that the delivery of said grants only proved the aggressiveness of the government in wanting to help the people. These, he said, should then be protected and be used by the beneficiaries as intended.

“Dagitoy a CLOAs nga inted ti Department of Agrarian Reform ket diay ti mangipakita nu kasanu ka-agresibo iti gobyerno. Usaren tayo amin dagitoy tapnu ma-sustain tayo dagiti kayat ti gobyerno nga ited kadatayo,” Mangaoang stressed.

The congressman advised the now land title owners not to follow other beneficiaries from other places who sold their lands, but rather to utilize them for the improvement of their lives as the government intends.

“Proteksyonan yu tapnu adda ti maibati tayo ti pamilya tayo a titulo ti daga nga isuda met a ti mangtultuloy a mangaywan, diay apo ti kayat tayo nga ibingay kadatayo,” he added.

Mangaoang likewise congratulated all the beneficiaries including the elected officers of the Barangay Agrarian Reform Committee (BARC) and the two new members of Presidential Agrarian Reform Coordinating Committee (PARCCOM) who took oath on the same day as officiated by DAR-CAR Regional Director, Atty. Eugene Follante.
